A catch-all e-mailbox is one that collects all the emails sent to inactive email addresses. For example, if your address is info@domain.com, but somebody miswrites it and sends a message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have configured. Just one single mailbox per domain name can have this feature activated and in this way you will never miss messages because the other party has an out-of-date address or has made a spelling mistake. The negative aspect of configuring a catch-all mailbox is that you may start receiving plenty of unsolicited bulk email messages, but this problem can be rectified using anti-spam filtering software. It’s also essential to remember that a mailbox with an enabled catch-all feature cannot forward inbound email messages to a third-party mailbox.
Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting

All the email addresses that you have set up will be displayed in this section in alphabetical order and you will simply need to click the "Catch-all" button pertaining to the given address. Our system will alert you if there is already another catch-all mailbox enabled for that domain name or if the one that you want to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding enabled, so you can either disable the latter feature or pick some other mailbox. Deactivating the catch-all feature is just as simple and requires yet another mouse click on the same button.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
You will be able to configure a catch-all email address with no more than a click if you’ve got a semi-dedicated server with us and your emails are handled by our cloud platform. All the mailboxes that you create using any domain hosted in your account will be listed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Each of them will have a mini "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to activate this feature will be to click on that icon. In the same fashion you will be able to deactivate the feature, in case you do not need it any longer. Our system will let you know if you’re attempting to enable a second catch-all address for a particular domain name or in case there’s activated email forwarding, but it will never modify or deactivate any feature automatically and without your consent.
